Account Manager – Tachograph After Market

About the Role
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers—primarily?transport companies and workshops. The Internal Audit & Advisory (IAA) Department’s mission is to provide an independent, objective assessment of the Company’s system of internal controls and underlying business processes. IAA also has an integral role to provide assurance on the Company’s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, policies & procedures, applicable laws and regulations.

The Sr. Manager of Internal Controls is a new role that will be responsible for leading and building out the IAA department in Europe. This position will be responsible for the development of a Sr. Auditor in Europe.

In addition, the position is responsible for supporting several key IAA activities, including development of the annual risk assessment, execution of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit plan, and delivery of results to Company leadership and the Audit Committee. You will also work closely with Finance and Operations management in identifying key business risks and evaluating internal controls, as well as lead the coordination of efforts with the External Audit team in supporting the integrated annual financial audit.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE DEMONSTRATES FOLLOWING SKILLS:


• Build out the IAA Department in Europe, including the development of a European Sr. Auditor, providing on-the-job training and feedback, and conducting formal performance evaluations
• Supervises and assists in the execution of the audit plan (and SOX-compliance), ensuring key objectives are met and results are clearly communicated to stakeholders
• Assists the Sr. Director of IAA in communicating results to Company leadership and the Audit Committee
• Acts as a business partner for management in assessing and monitoring business risks, improving processes, controls and control awareness
• Participates in the European risk assessment process and develops the schedule of audit assignments to for the European Internal Control team
• Provides direction and guidance on the identification of key risks, evaluation of internal controls, and delivery of value-add recommendations
• Leads coordination with the External Audit team in supporting the integrated annual financial audit
• Utilizes strong interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills to achieve cooperation and consensus with management and global teams
• Exercises due professional care during the course of the audit to avoid conflict of interest, maintain independence and objectivity, and assure the protection of confidential information
• Leads and executes on-site audit procedures at Stoneridge’s global locations
• Performs special reviews and investigations as assigned

• Demonstrated experience with internal controls, risk assessments, business process testing or operational auditing
• Proven ability to deal with ambiguity
• Advanced technical, analytical, and communication skills

• That his/her design is in accordance with general applicable workmanship.

• Information to the project manager if the project is delayed according to the time schedule.

Designing software architecture of automotive safety-critical products which incorporates several processors on distributed system.

Gathering details from customer requirements and product definitions.

Working closely with international project teams across various disciplines to ensure the design meets all requirements.

Being responsible for the documentation of designs.

Supporting project teams when necessary, in developing and verifying the software according to the design. Continuously learning and contributing ideas for new developments in advanced engineering.

• Ensures the timely and complete creation, modification and completion of the embedded software architecture and design based on available customer requirements.
• Is able to, together with relevant stakeholders, create a software design based on incomplete customer requirements.

• Designs software for products/projects using relevant software development tools.
• Works closely together in project teams with various disciplines to ensure the design meets all requirements.

About the role

The Role

You will be joining our Systems Engineering team in Solna. Your main role will be enabling on time and high-quality system / software deliveries through a broad understanding of the system functionalities and its interdependencies.

 

Key Responsibilities


• To create system requirements and model a system architecture based on customer requirements analysis.
• To contribute to a platform architecture with the scope to increase reusability among projects.
• To maintain and improve processes and best practices related to system requirements engineering and system architecture design.

Your Profile

Chief Engineer Commercial Vehicles OEM

Stoneridge Electronics Division is looking for a Chief Engineer Commercial Vehicles OEM to our growing business with real opportunities to influence to the success of the business. The position holder will report directly to the Vice President Engineering. He/she will initially have responsibility for appr. 20 employees mainly located in Barneveld and Solna. The position holder leads the group of system architects, system integrators, configuration managers and functional safety engineers leading to defined technology in product families, and is responsible for the structural design, development, and deployment of the Stoneridge’s products and services. The Chief Engineer defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. He/she works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge, and research, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Establishes, implements, and documents the technology integration or migration strategies. The position requires staying on top of the industry trend and new technologies for the system architecture.

Responsibilities:
The position holder leads the system architecture group to translate the requirements from Stoneridge stakeholders, product and service requirements into system and subsystem technical solutions, thereby creating the system architecture of products, platforms, and services. Leads the team to accomplish all below mentioned duties.

Leads the integration of Stoneridge stakeholders, product and service requirements into system and subsystem requirements.

Identifies key system features needed to support key value proposition attributes.

Performs/facilitates trade-off analysis between various system attributes and communicates results. Acts as the final single point of accountability for trade-off decisions

Partitions proposed solutions into appropriate subsystems/functional decompositions.

Together with the appropriate technical experts, decomposes system architecture decisions into functional, optical, hardware, software and mechanical roadmaps.

Develops optical/hardware/software/mechanical roadmaps based on the future technology and product roadmaps.

Gives input to our advanced engineering and embraces/implements the results of advanced technology projects.

Reviews/accepts the result of validation testing to ensure that final product performance is in line with previously defined requirements.

Meets with key suppliers and stays abreast of developments in the electronics/semiconductor space.

Manage the form proliferation resulting from the requirements analysis and the functional decomposition by partnering with sub-system/module engineering teams

Communicates decisions in a timely and effective manner.

Enforces process discipline around the QFD, Systems Analysis, Road mapping and Model Based design Process.

Candidate profile / requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline is required: Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Computer Science Preferred. Advanced degree preferred.

We develop both wired and wireless on-board system solutions for the automotive industry, specifically Commercial Vehicles and heavy industry, and are innovating in terms of advanced driver assist products for improved availability, energy efficiency and incident fatality rates.

This role has interactions with cross functional teams including electronics, systems engineering, software design, cloud services and operations and provide a great opportunity to gain practical knowledge about all aspects of design, development, and deployment of products in automotive industry.

Basic Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 5+ years' experience in the automotive industry or industrial electronics industry as an embedded software development engineer.

Here we need a computer vision specialist to help us develop and optimize  our algorithms for best possible performance. Your responsibilities will be develop and evaluate computer vision algorithm and implement and optimize algorithms on embedded platforms.

Competences we are looking for


• MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
• More than three years of computer vision or image processing experience.

Your role 
The mechanical design team are responsible for designing new mechanical components and assemblies, also working on improvements for existing products. You will develop and improve existing products, support production in investigating quality issues, performe design changes and design verification activities. Creo (Pro Engineer), CAD and PDM Link(Windchill) will be the tools you use to solve the tasks. The rolse also include write technical specifications for products and of course in close communicaton with your project team and with automotive suppliers and customers.

System Verification
The system verification team is responsible of testing complex systems consisting of cameras, displays, control modules, HMI control and harness.
Substituting conventional mirrors with camera monitoring system has brought some additional challenges into system verification, where we must adapt to the new technologies to match the demands of the future products.

We are updating our System Verification Strategy, investing in new laboratory test equipment and develop a team of enthusiastic engineers for the job.


Your role:


• Requirement handling / Test specification / Test environment set up.
• Perform requirement-based system verification with regards to stability, robustness, performance and functional content.
• Work closely with other engineering teams on reporting/analyzing/resolving issues and defects.


Your profile:


• BSC or MSC engineer within Electronic/SW/System or equivalent.
• Software knowledge programming/scripting i.e. C-sharp
• Hardware electronic knowledge.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible  to lead Procurement activities for a defined commodity group from the point of customer award through end of production. Roles and responsibilities
Work with the Commodity Manager to provide input to and execute global commodity strategy. You will define Stoneridge’s current and future global needs for specific commodity groupings. Evaluate nature of market supply along with process and technology trends and source in accordance with the commodity strategy. The role will involve interact with internal stakeholders to drive standardization and strategy execution.

Our new sourcing partner will manage prices, meaning define initial pricing and ensure accurately, resolve or escalate changes in price, calculate lowest total cost on quantity/price tradeoffs and work with Planners to execute. You will manage tooling contracts, ensure that tooling information is gathered for new tools including tooling contracts, collect and organize tooling information for existing tools and resolve or escalate supplier requests for tooling maintenance.

You will also:

• Define and execute strategic sourcing decisions
• Source material requirements to the required specification at a competitive best landed cost terms and in accordance with program targets.
• Participate in APQP activities and drive suppliers towards on time product launch.
• Ensure no disruption of material supply that will result in a production stoppage. Expedite orders to ensure on-time deliveries as needed. Negotiate supplier compensation for non-performance (when supplier is at fault).
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
• Manage prototype purchases (e.g. order issuance, delivery timing).
• Evaluate and participate in the vendor qualification process.
• ERP System (JD Edwards, Proceedo) database maintenance and integrity.
• Contract review and negotiation, as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers both on and off site with a view to improving supplier performance.
• Engage and influence stakeholders in Procurement and cross-funtionally.

The ideal candidate we are looking for has:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing related field
• Ability to create and deliver clear, persuasive presentations

As a manager you will be responsible for


• Developing the team’s individual and collective capability and

The position offered will require some traveling between different development sites and customers. You will report to Vice President, Vision and Safety. The challenges ahead for the Software and verification Manager are to develop global teams to work in one common global market. Also the software in our products is often a co-developed Software together with our customers and other partners. This sets high requirements of structured layered Software with clear interfaces. Requirement traceability and testing is key to success.

Qualifications
Good leadership skills are the most important qualification for this role. For us at SRE this means a decentralized and supportive leadership based on management by objectives. You should have confidence in leading teams globally in different time zones and cultures and previous work experience outside Sweden. Good communication skills and fluency in English is necessary for this role. Furthermore, we do see that you have the ability to take a holistic perspective and have a strong customer-oriented approach and strive for results.

In recent years we have developed a camera-based replacement for the traditional rearview mirrors on trucks, to reduce fuel consumption and therefore also the impact on the environment. These systems also help drivers to get a better view of their surroundings, making life safer for pedestrians and vehicle drivers alike. We are working on integrating machine learning into our products so that drivers can get alerts in critical situations and focus more on the road ahead.

In our team we have engineers within various engineering competences and collaborate with teams in the Netherlands (Stoneridge Orlaco) and United States.

Your role
As a System Integrator at Stoneridge you will be responsible in a product development project or program for the process of bringing together the customer requirements with our system architecture. Aiming to convince customers to maximally use the core system architecture while enabling and integrating specific customer requirements as specific sub-systems or configurations. In this role, the system integrator is the main technical liaison with the customer during implementation projects, next to the account manager and project manager in their roles.

The position requires staying on top of the industry trend and new technologies for the system integration. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Brings our system architecture and system design to customers, translates and integrates additional customer requirements into detailed architecture and technology
• Communicates with customers about their technical needs and the relation with our system design 
• Communicates and arranges the implementation of agreed customer solutions towards all internal stakeholders
• Identifies key system features needed to support key value proposition attributes
• Facilitates trade-off analysis between various system attributes and communicates results
• Together with technical experts, decomposes system architecture decisions into functional, optical, hardware, software and mechanical modules
• Reviews/accepts the result of validation testing to ensure that final product performance is in line with previously defined requirements.
• Manage the form proliferation resulting from the requirements analysis and the functional decomposition by partnering with sub-system/module engineering teams
• Enforces process discipline around the QFD, Systems Analysis, and road mapping and Model Based design Process.

The ideal candidate we are looking for has

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline is required: Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Computer Science Preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience with Systems Engineering/Requirements Management including Requirements Development and Elucidation, Requirements Definition, Traceability and Validation.
• Deep understanding of systems engineering models, software development, electronics development
• Thinks and acts strategically: possesses Business Insight and keep Customer Focus and is capable of dealing with ambiguity.
• Multi-disciplinary technical knowledge: leverage technologies to find the best technical, customer-focused, manufacturable and cost-effective solution. Thinks and acts with an overview over technical choices and their influences on total platforms and across platforms.
• Has a focus on details and accuracy with respect to the definition, coherence and traceability of the systems and their sub-system components.
• Excellence in communication, presentation, writing and communicates and collaborates effectively with stakeholders like customers, system architects, project leaders and account management.
