Your Mission
The principal mission of the Compliance Officer for Sweden-Finland/Nordics is to develop, implement, and administer all aspects of the company’s Compliance Management Program. The focus is on detecting and preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and consumer fraud while meeting all consumer protection expectations and regulatory requirements for Ria’s operations as a money service business.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee the day-to-day compliance activities, including training Ria employees, agents, and partners, as well as members of the Board of Directors.
Collaborate with senior management to administer compliance programs effectively and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Lead compliance efforts across the Nordics by providing guidance and support to Compliance Officers in Denmark and Norway.
Liaise with Financial Supervisory Authorities, Financial Intelligence Units, and other regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to obligations.
Manage and lead interactions with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits, maintaining compliance and clear communication.
Periodically update the Board of Directors, senior management, and other personnel on emerging compliance issues, while establishing and enhancing risk controls.
Implement an effective Compliance Risk Assessment Program to identify risks associated with regulatory environments, products, services, customers, operational locations, and delivery channels.
Oversee initial and ongoing due diligence processes for onboarding prospects, agents, and partners in compliance with laws and regulations.
Manage agent and partner visitation programs to ensure adherence to AML/ATF policies and oversee transactional activities for compliance.
Supervise transaction monitoring functions and ensure timely review and reporting of suspicious activities by Compliance Analysts and local Compliance Officers.
Conduct in-depth analysis of flagged transactions using advanced Excel techniques to detect unusual or suspicious activity when escalated.
Develop and deliver effective AML/CTF training and continuing education programs for employees, senior management, and the Board of Directors.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all regulatory reporting and business permit renewal requirements are met.
Enforce risk management and mitigation strategies and communicate these processes effectively to the Board of Directors.
Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in financial services and AML/CTF sectors. Proactively integrate updates into the compliance program and enhance expertise through relevant courses, seminars, and conferences.

Qualifications
Expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), with deep knowledge of the Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018.
Strong understanding of compliance challenges within financial institutions and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Proven leadership experience, managing international teams and mentoring junior staff to foster professional growth.
Ability to manage compliance-business relationships effectively, maintaining clear and collaborative communication.
Transaction monitoring and AML/CTF experience, including advanced data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel.
Fluency in Swedish and English (mandatory); proficiency in Finnish is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Ria is looking for a Transaction Review Analyst for our Compliance Department at our local office in Stockholm, Sweden. This position will play a key role in providing overall support to the Transaction Review Management team. As a Transaction Review Analyst, you will report directly to the Compliance Officer and primarily be responsible for ensuring that Ria’s operations adhere to laws and regulations applicable to the Money Service Business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting relevant due diligence process which includes of reviewing, analyzing, screening of customer transactions in detecting and preventing of AML/CFT and fraudulent transaction prior to releasing the remittance orders.
Ensuring the transactions are reviewed and processed within the turnaround time and are adhering to the Ria Compliance SOP, rules and regulation.
Reviewing customer transactions to assess for suspicious transactional activities and ensuring the suspicious activities / transactions are escalated for further investigation within the turnaround time stipulated.
Reviewing customer information to assess potential matches to name screening hits flagged out by the screening systems and recommending the appropriate treatment of the hits.
Reviewing and analyzing transactions blocked by the system.
Maintaining records in our databases for review by auditors and regulators.
Serving as a proactive team member in interfacing with our business departments, stores and agents.
Keeping up-to-date with Anti-Money Laundering regulations regarding record-keeping, internal recording-keeping, identification, and source of funds requirements.
Providing assistance with inbound and outbound calls.
Performing other duties as assigned by the Compliance Officer or TRG Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or above
Anti-money laundering and Counter-terrorism Financing understanding
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
Excellent phone etiquette, being detail oriented, problem solving skills and ability to work well under minimal supervision
Ability to work well with others, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preference will be given to candidates knowledgeable in Compliance, policies, laws and regulations in the money service business industry

This person’s mission is to keep updated and have control over all the administrative activity of the Marketing team. The Marketing Assistant is the person in the Marketing team responsible of doing the follow up of invoices, reviewing the material that has been requested by ensuring that what has been ordered is what has been received, and being the main point of contact with providers. Responsibilities:
Be a Ria brand ambassador.
Assist with follow up on “big box” and “top agents” ensuring their needs are being met.Weekly calls as needed to review strategy and follow up marketing campaigns. Ensure the visibility of our brand offline with our partners.

Stock management, logistic coordination of merchandising shipments, uniforms, and marketing material to the teams in the Nordics Team. Overview and control of Swedish Marketing Storage. Making sure it’s always organized and clean and fully stocked.
Assist in the management of logistics of corporate events
Liaise with EU Purchases in regard to new suppliers. Responsible for Supplier on boarding process & collaborate on requests for creation of purchase orders and by sending evidence and invoices to the Purchase and Finance Department.
Assist with management of Events (sponsorships, fairs, festivals etc). And also be present at these events to promote our services.
Collaborate with other more Marketing related functions, such as distribution of promotional marketing materials and production of merchandising.
Collaborate with the Sales team, partners, and vendors. Work closely with the Nordics Marketing Manager.
Help manage the Nordics Marketing budget together with the Nordics marketing manager by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Assist with Swedish translations on marketing campaigns and assist Agent support team for sms messaging to customers.



Qualifications:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (EXCEL and PPT especially).
Design and Photoshop knowledge an advantage.
Native or Proficient in Swedish and English. Fluency in Swedish is a must. ·
Has a Swedish Drivers license.
Bachelor’s Degree preferable but not essential.
Experience in Marketing preferable
1 to 2 years+ work experience in marketing related roles preferable

agents’ deposits, in the Nordics region.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Learn all about the different payment methods like SEPA, CIT, Card Terminals, etc.
- Create a detail list with all payment methods available and their respective fees/cost.
- Roll-out of new settlement methods, such as card payment, CIT, Smart Safes, ACH etc.
- Compare different providers and choose best alternative.
- Contingency planning and execution, if one settlement method is blocked.
- Find out the main contact person for each CIT company and keep good relation and communication.
- Review the Gross, EBIT, Txts, Volume, etc. for current agents with CIT service and provide feedback to manager.
- Call agents to make sure they understand their payment method (Specially new agents)
- Review each pick-up schedule service and fix accordingly in Fx-Client.

As an Account Manager your mission will be to expand the network of agents in a designated territory in Stockholm and North of Sweden presenting RIA Money Transfer Service as a business opportunity.

Agent Support Analyst 
Your purpose is to improve the position in the market of our existing agents, through the revenue management and the field job.
You will be responsible for: 
Attending the Agents by phone, trying to solve their doubts and/or problems in a daily basis. 
Monitoring the evolution of the agents: keeping regular contact with them when their activity is diminishing or when we have information about the activity of RIA agent with the competition. 
Assessing the satisfaction of the agent with the company service. 
Doing periodic reports for the Management in order to undertake the right action for the development of it. 
You will be expected to spend part of your time (around 50%) out of the office developing existing Agents
You must have sales and customer orientation, be an analytical thinker and have an excellent understanding of the exchange rates and the revenue variables and its effects over the clients' activity and the Company Gross Profit
Report to the Sales Director on a regular and timely basis to ensure that he is fully and correctly briefed in all aspects of your work
 
Qualifications
Good knowledge of the local ethnic communities
Used to work under pressure and strongly driven to achieve the targets
Actively demonstrate an understanding of the Money transfer operations and systems
Keep abreast of issues affecting money transfer companies and the money transfer industry (main corridors, presence of immigrants in different areas) 
Knowledge about "Revenue/Field management" is highly valued. You need a proficient level in the use of the Windows environment (particularly Excel).
Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English – other additional languages would be appreciated.
