Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Operations Engineer - VMware to join our client team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing VMware tools, supporting applications, and ensuring the smooth operation of data center environments. You will work on system development, automation, and incident management while maintaining high standards of documentation and configuration accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage VMware tools and provide application support.
* Administer firewall rules and exceptions.
* Develop and configure new systems to meet operational needs.
* Create automation scripts to streamline daily routines and update internal portals and dashboards.
* Enhance documentation quality and maintain configuration databases.
* Handle incident management at 2nd and 3rd level, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Must have skills and experience:

* Proficiency in VMware technologies: ESX, NSX, vSAN.
* Experience with vRealize, NSX-T, Ansible, SaltStack, VBScript, PowerShell, .NET.
* Solid understanding of Windows environments and security principles.

Nice to have:

* Experience in an energy distribution company.

Your new role As Product Manager, you will lead the development and lifecycle management of service products built around mass spectrometry-based, targeted CETSA® (Cellular Thermal Shift Assay), support the performance of existing and launching products, and be instrumental in shaping the future of Pelago Bioscience's global product/services portfolio.

You will report to the Head of Marketing and Products, a collaborative leader who serves as a trusted sounding board. They create an environment where ideas can grow into action, cross-functional thinking is encouraged, and open, curious dialogue is valued.

If you bring a business mindset, commercial experience, and a strong proteomics background (e.g., mass spectrometry-based protein quantification, sample-prep optimisation, LC-MS method development, and large-scale dataset analysis), we'd love to connect.

Responsibilities:

* Translating business strategy into product strategy
* Manage the product/service lifecycle, including pricing (i.e. own the business case) and portfolio optimisation
* Translate market data, customer insights, and competitive analysis into clear, actionable decisions
* Consolidate qualitative feedback from the commercial team with quantitative market and usage data to drive evidence-based product decisions
* Run interviews, gather feedback, and validate product hypotheses
* Define target audiences, product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
* Collaborate with R&D to develop data supporting marketing initiatives
* Work with the marketing communications team and commercial leadership on the development of key marketing messages, launch packages and general promotional material
* Create materials for, and provide product training to the commercial team



What you'll need to succeed To succeed in the role of Product Manager, you need:

* Minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field

* Minimum 3-5 years' commercial experience, preferably within the life science industry, e.g., product management, sales or application/scientific support

* Experience working with customers within pharma & biotech, preferably in early drug development of small molecule drugs

* Fluency in English, written and spoken

* Hands-on experience with mass spectrometry-based assays

Your new role
You report to the COO/deputy CEO, and will be part of the Operations management team.
The job of the Product Manager is to strategically plan and execute the design, launch, commercialization and optimization of Pelago Bioscience's products to support the company's mission of becoming the partner of choice in the discovery of novel therapeutics.

In this role, you will:

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific and technology trends in Drug Discovery through a network of KOLs and customers, attending conferences, industry articles, blogs, competition analysis, etc, to inform portfolio strategy
* Be responsible for user requirement specifications of the portfolio of offerings
* Approve functional requirement specifications from R&D during development work
* Be responsible for coordinating customer feedback on prototypes and beta launches
* Develop business cases to propose new product development
* Develop and drive projects and tactics needed for product launch and commercialization to achieve both horizontal and vertical revenue growth
* Prepare and provide customer-facing presentations or webinars describing technical information on product(s)
* Produce product marketing plans for new and existing products and ensure plans align with other parts of the company
* Be responsible for post-launch review metrics, evaluation of product performance and customer feedback
* Perform regular review of product performance, competitive positioning and pricing in the market, market share gains, wins/losses and best practices
* Work closely with RnD and LabOps to recommend and plan product improvements and discontinuations
* Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product and provide business/marketing inputs into marketing content and sales tools
What you'll need to succeed

* Life Science relevant Ph.D. or M.Sc. degree: Biochemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology, Chemistry or similar, alternatively compensated by corresponding industry experience

Your new role

You report to the deputy CEO, and will be part of the operations management team. The role is based at the beautiful headquarters in Stockholm. Some traveling (such as co-traveling with your sales team members) is natural and expected in the role. The client base is international.



We are looking for an experienced sales manager to lead the team of Key Account Managers/Sales Managers. A key to success will be to lead the change in culture and behavior, with increased focus and understanding of how to successfully drive and influence sales. With a strong offering, much of the sales have historically been made through incoming enquiries from customers. Hence, the implementation of more active Key Account strategies, as well as an active outbound sales strategy, is a potential for growth.

You will set clear requirements, support the sales managers in breaking down sales goals into sub-goals and action plans, and proactively follow up on them. You will establish relevant KPIs to drive the sales organization more proactively, as well as increase predictions in forecasts.



What you'll need to succeed

You are an experienced sales manager, with a track record of successfully managing a sales team and proactively driving sales - ideally within the CRO space or similar services. You have great focus and experience of successfully leading towards clear goals, setting clear plans, following up and supporting the sales process, preferably also in penetrating new markets and introducing new products on the market. You need to be good at communication, getting buy-in, implementing and sustaining change.



You will need:

* Experience in sales management, leading sales teams
* Own solid experience of complex sales
* Fluency in English

You will find it important to have:

* Experience of working with a CRO, CMO or CDMO (sales of services rather than products)
* Experience of stakeholder mapping and best practice in complex sales
* Ability and willingness to travel naturally for business purposes
* Ability to establish clear plans, as well as support and follow up against them.

Hays Life Science söker nu en processingenjör med erfarenhet av rengöringsvalidering för ett konsultuppdrag på 6 månader hos vår kund Valneva. Du kommer att vara placerad ute i Solna och uppdraget är tänkt att starta till hösten.


Om uppdraget
I ditt uppdrag kommer du att rengöringsvalidera en del av anläggningen inom biologisk drug substance, som delvis byggts om och beräknas vara klar i höst. I din roll kommer du att utveckla metoder och processer för rengöringen, och med det göra provtagningar och sköta all nödvändig dokumentationen. Du kommer att driva projektet självständigt.

Bakgrundskrav

* Vi söker dig som har en naturvetenskaplig examen (BSc/MSc) med inriktning biologi, mikrobiologi eller motsvarande.
* Du behöver ha kunskap och tidigare erfarenhet av att ha arbetat med biologiska substanser och provtagningar förknippade med detta.
