SAS Technical Operations is a dedicated team of 100 professionals responsible for ensuring the ongoing airworthiness of the SAS fleet. Our work spans a range of essential tasks, from negotiating and managing supplier contracts to engineering and planning maintenance activities. 
Within this structure, our CAMO Engineering team plays a key role in implementing maintenance and regulatory requirements, monitoring fleet reliability, and managing the aircraft maintenance budget of the aircraft and engine types. SAS Engineering department includes 50 members working closely with with the rest of Technical Operations, Flight Operations, Network Planning, Fleet Management, Finance, Aviation Authorities, Suppliers, etc. to deliver on-time and sustainable air travel.  
The Engineering department within CAMO is looking for an experienced and motivated Powerplant Engineer to join this dynamic organization and a highly reputable flag carrier. The right candidate will have the skills and personality to fit within a small, multi skilled team that is responsible for the continuing airworthiness, safety and reliability of the aircraft and components in line with the manufacturer recommendations and the regulatory requirements. In addition, a Poweplant Engineer continuously contributes to improve SAS products and processes with cost saving initiatives to help our service in a complex and demanding environment.  

Challenges you will work on:

 As a member of the Powerplant team, you will work on various engine/APU and nacelle/TR types, including LEAP, TRENT, IAE, XWB, and CF34. The focus is to maintain the Continuing Airworthiness, safety and reliability of engine/APU and its components in line with the manufacturer recommendations and the regulatory requirements. You will work close with all teams in SAS CAMO as well with SAS Part-145 department. Your should possess analytic driven nature and have experience to draw conclusions from data driven facts, you should have experience working in a similar operational environment and will have safety as your top priority, with sound judgement in both technical and financial matters.
As a Powerplant Engineer at SAS, you will be:
* Evaluation of continuing airworthiness and maintenance related tasks. 
* Short- and long-term engine fleet planning. 
* Analyze and monitor Engine Health Monitoring activities. 
* Engine / APU / TR/Nacelle repair management.
* Handling phase-in and phase-out of engines and its components. 
* Administer/ review engine related contract proposals/agreements, warranty claims etc. 
* Ensure effective and timely coordination/implementation of planning and project control functions required for engine related projects. 
* Ownership of a significant maintenance budget, including cost control and forecasting. 


To be successful, we believe you should have: 

* University Bsc/BEng or Msc. degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering.  
* Relevant experience in aviation/airline engineering within Powerplant (aircraft types A320/A330/A350/E190/E195 and/or B737). 
* Minimum of 3 years demonstrative work experience with CAMO Powerplant engineering.  
* Knowledge of EASA Part-M and Part-145 regulations. 
* Skywise experience is advantageous. 
* Excellent communication skills. 
* Fluent in English – both verbally and written. 
* Strong skills in IT systems and tools. 

It is also meritorious if you have direct experience within:
* RR TRENT/XWB Engines  
* AMOS MMIS system

The Team

Aircraft IT is a critical part of SAS operational environment, as we are providing IT solutions for Flight Deck, Cabin, Airworthiness and the Maintenance Production areas. The purpose with this role is to participate in designing, developing and maintaining solutions for data capture and distribution to facilitate efficient Aircraft and flight operations. The work will be perform together in a SAS Aircraft IT team, and with stakeholders from Avionics, FlightOPS, Flight Dispatch, Fuel efficiency /sustainability, external auppliers, and in other IT teams. 

To be successful, we believe you have:

* University degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering. 
* Education and work experience in Computer Science is beneficial. 
* At least 5 year experience from working in Airline industry and preferably within airline operations. 
* At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role.

Reporting to the Nominated Postholder Continued Airworthiness, Head of Maintenance Operations will be responsible for overall management of the Maintenance Operation Control, to ensure that all maintenance activities are accomplished strictly as per company procedures and industry best standards. Key Responsibilities

In this role your main areas of responsibilities are the following:

* Maintain overall management and strategic long-term vision of Maintenance Control. Constant focus on process improvement and efficiencies.

You will work close with all teams in SAS CAMO as well with SAS Part-145 department. Key Responsibilities

* Maintain service level of all entertainment systems on SAS fleet on highest level
* Provide substantiation data for maintenance program task escalation and de-escalation.
* Ensure that Airworthiness Directives are being processed through technical assessment and preparation of Engineering Orders.
* Review and recommend incorporation of Service Bulletins to enhance safety, operational performance, and reliability in order to gain lower cost during operation.
* Support the 145 maintenance organizations, logistics and planning sections.
* Ensure the achievement of technical reliability targets.
* Carry out occurrence/Incident investigations
* Control the configuration status for the aircraft/components
* Define and ensures the implementation of actions resulting from non-conformance findings as part of Quality Audits, Quality Inspections or Airworthiness Review
* Participate in projects which could be commercial or flight operation oriented, when deemed appropriate
* Interface with OEMs and TC holders

Maintenance controller on duty is always ultimately responsible to ensure the technical airworthiness of all operating SAS aircrafts. We are the decision maker as operator for maintenance tasks and how they should be prioritized and performed.
Who You Are
You are an excellent communicator with sharp judgment skills in a fast changing and dynamic environment. Furthermore, you are result driven and motivated by solving challenging situations. You possess good overview of business processes and have the ability to prioritize and make decisions within the scope of mandate. The role requires analytical- and problem skills. Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Be first point of contact for SAS Operation to align and adjust SAS flight program and maintenance needs.
Secure that all required maintenance is performed within the maintenance intervals applicable and within the scope of monitoring, in an efficient and cost-effective way.
Secure that only qualified personnel and maintenance contractors- and maintenance providers, are used for fault rectification on SAS aircraft.
Be responsible for AOG coordination and handling within the SAS fleet. Aspects such as safety, economics and efficiency must be taken into account.
Be responsible for deferred defect control and handling.
Be responsible for flight and maintenance restrictions control and handling.
Handle various mandatory documents according regulation requirements.
Be responsible for aircraft recovery preparedness and recovery execution.


Qualifications and experience
At least 5 years’ experience as licensed aircraft engineer (B1/B2), maintenance supervisory, a background as Aircraft Technician/engineering degree on for SAS relevant aircraft types.
Leader experience relevant for the role.
Documented experience of working with aircraft maintenance in relation to operation.
In depth knowledge of civil aviation regulation EASA Part M and Part 145
Excellent understanding of the aircraft maintenance processes
Fluent knowledge in English and Scandinavian language, both in speaking and writing
Experience from compact organizations and skills in cross functional work interface
Good knowledge and experience with AMOS and supported Maintenance surveillance systems

Experience

Minimum 6 years of CAMO experience within a commercial airline, whereof minimum 3 years in a management position, and 3 years’ experience with Reliability Strategy and Performance

Purpose of the role
The Engineering department within the CAMO is looking for an experienced and motivated Payload Engineer to join a dynamic organization and a highly reputable flag carrier. The right candidate will have the skills and personality to fit within a small, multi skilled team that is responsible for the continuing airworthiness, safety and reliability of the aircraft and components in line with the manufacturer recommendations and the regulatory requirements. In addition, the Payload Engineer continuously contributes to improve SAS products and processes with cost saving initiatives to help our service in a complex and demanding environment As part of the CAMO Engineering Payload team, you will work on a variety of aircraft types such as A320/A330/A350, B737NG and EMB190/195. The focus is to maintain the Continuing Airworthiness, safety and reliability of the aircraft and components in line with the manufacturer recommendations and the regulatory requirements. You will work close with all teams in SAS CAMO as well with SAS Part-145 department. Working conditions/place

CAMO Engineering
The Engineering department within CAMO is responsible for the implementation of all applicable maintenance and authority requirements, monitoring of the fleet reliability, and maintenance budget of the aircraft and engine types operated by SAS. The Engineering department employs 42 persons working closely with the rest of Technical Operations, Flight Operations, Network Planning, Fleet Management, Finance, Aviation Authorities, Suppliers, etc.
Purpose of the role
The Engineering department within the CAMO is looking for an experienced and motivated Payload Engineer to join a dynamic organization and a highly reputable flag carrier. The right candidate will have the skills and personality to fit within a small, multi skilled team that is responsible for the continuing airworthiness, safety and reliability of the aircraft and components in line with the manufacturer recommendations and the regulatory requirements. In addition, the Payload Engineer continuously contributes to improve SAS products and processes with cost saving initiatives to help our service in a complex and demanding environment As part of the CAMO Engineering Payload team, you will work on a variety of aircraft types such as A320/A330/A350, B737NG and EMB190/195. The focus is to maintain the Continuing Airworthiness, safety and reliability of the aircraft and components in line with the manufacturer recommendations and the regulatory requirements. You will work close with all teams in SAS CAMO as well with SAS Part-145 department. You are analytic driven and have experience to draw conclusions from data driven facts, you should have experience working in a similar operational environment and will have safety as your top priority, with sound judgement in both technical and financial matters.
Key Responsibilities
Keep and maintain Cabin standards at the highest level on entire SAS fleet
Provide substantiation data for maintenance program task escalation and de-escalation.
Ensure that Airworthiness Directives are being processed through technical assessment and preparation of Engineering Orders.
Review and recommend incorporation of Service Bulletins to enhance safety, operational performance, and reliability to gain lower cost during aircraft operation.
Ensure the achievement of technical reliability targets.
Support the 145 maintenance organizations, logistics and planning sections.
Carry out occurrence/Incident investigations
Control the configuration status for the aircraft/components
Define and ensures the implementation of actions resulting from non-conformance findings as part of Quality Audits, Quality Inspections or Airworthiness Review
Participate in projects which could be commercial or flight operation oriented, when deemed appropriate
Interface with OEMs and TC holders.

Required Qualifications
University degree or equivalent in Aeronautical Engineering
Relevant experience of aircraft types A320/A330/A350/B737NG and/or EMB190/195
Minimum of 3 years demonstrative working experience with Payload engineering relevant topics (Cabin, Placards & Markings, Oxygen, Water & Waste, Weight & Balance)
Knowledge in EASA Part-M & Part-145 regulations
AMOS experience is advantageous
Skywise experience is advantageous
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English – verbally and written
Strong skills in IT systems and tools
Ability to learn new skills

Du har minst 2-5 års men gärna längre yrkeserfarenhet inom ditt specialområde och relevant akademisk examen.

Varit delaktig i implementation av komplexa IT-lösningar och digitaliseringsprojekt
Implementationserfarenhet av affärs-/driftuppföljningsystem (t.ex. IFS, SAP, AMOS, Maintenix)
Processutveckling
Kunskap om EASA/EMAR/FAA
Certifiering inom relevant område är meriterande

We are looking for a Team & Fleet Manager Boeing 737 NG to join our team in Stockholm. As a part of the SAS CAMO, we are responsible for the airworthiness and economical operation of the airline’. The Team & Fleet Manager will secure airworthy, safe and economical operation of assigned aircraft types by cross- functional control, support, and follow up of all required processes and services internally and externally with authorities, OEM’s, MRO’s, and other suppliers.
