Om rollen
Som produktionsoperatör hos Symcel blir du en del av vårt produktionsteam och arbetar med montering, testning och kvalitetssäkring av våra instrument. Arbetet innefattar montering av små och känsliga komponenter, där noggrannhet och fingerfärdighet är avgörande. Vissa moment sker under mikroskop.
Exempel på arbetsuppgifter:
· Utföra produktionsmontering och testning enligt rutiner och instruktioner
· Hantera problem och avvikelser i produktionen i samråd med produktionschef
· Arbeta mot uppsatta mål och bidra till ständiga förbättringar i produktionsprocessen


Vem vi söker
Vi söker dig som har:
· Minst 2 års erfarenhet av produktion, montering eller tekniskt arbete
· God teknisk förståelse och mycket noggrann arbetsteknik
· Förmåga att kommunicera på både svenska och engelska
· Möjlighet att arbeta kontorstider
Meriterande:
· Erfarenhet av lödning och arbete med finmekanik / elektronikmontage
· Tidigare erfarenhet av arbete med detaljarbete under mikroskop

Job description
As a Marketing Specialist, you will drive marketing initiatives across digital channels and events —working closely with colleagues from marketing, product, application and sales teams. This role will be based at Symcel’s head office on the premises of the Karolinska Institute, with the option to work remotely 1–2 days per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns across channels such as social media, email and Google Ads.
· Coordinating Symcel’s participation in exhibitions and conferences, including booking, logistics, and booth materials (e.g., roll-ups, stand walls, printed materials).
· Overseeing day-to-day website content and updates, ensuring SEO optimization and alignment with brand guidelines.
· Collaborating with web developers and designers to improve website UX and functionality.
· Designing and adapting marketing materials (ads, images, videos, brochures) using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva.
· Supporting the creation of content including videos, blog articles, application notes, case stories and other marketing materials.

Qualifications
· Academic degree in Marketing, Communication or similar.
· At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in campaign management and digital marketing.
· Hands-on experience managing websites through CMS platforms and understanding of SEO best practices.
· Experience running social media and Google Ads campaigns.
· Proficiency with marketing software and design tools (eg. Adobe creative cloud including InDesign and Photoshop, Canva and CRM systems).
· Experience planning and coordinating conference participation (booking, shipments, and promotional material).
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
· Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred qualifications (meriting but not required):
· Background in marketing for life science, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), or medical devices.
· Experience writing scientific or technical content (e.g., blog posts, case studies, application notes).

Your Role as Senior Application Scientist
We are looking to strengthen our team with a senior Application Scientist working both in the field as well as internally inside and out of the lab. You have a strong background in microbiology and/or cell metabolism measurements and with a solid industry experience.
You will be a vital part of the R&D Applications team, working closely with the Commercial team and other colleagues. You will be contributing to the development of new calorimetry applications, running demo experiments, and working closely with customers on their projects both at their sites and in-house. We are looking for a motivated, experienced scientific expert who is enthusiastic about supporting other scientists and technicians using our technology and has a learning mindset to continuously expand their knowledge in the different areas we cover.
Your responsibilities will encompass both hands-on laboratory research and data analysis, along with providing support to both early and established customers. Additionally, a part of your role will involve training customers in their labs and supporting the sales team in customer meetings. This position requires onsite presence as well as traveling from time to time.


Key Responsibilities:
Own the demo process operationally by developing and conducting proof-of-concept studies for potential customers.
Provide technical training and support to customers pre- and post sale.
Engage as a field application scientist onsite with customers
Participate in the development of new application ideas, including supporting materials, application notes and feasibility testing
Help customers conduct microcalorimetry experiments. Maximize their success by assisting with experimental design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation of results.
Communicate and provide feedback to internal stakeholders (R&D, PM, Marketing) to align product development with market needs.



About You
You are a versatile individual who excels at tackling diverse challenges, possesses strong communication abilities, and excels in building collaborative relationships within cross-functional teams.

Essential for the role:?
To be successful in this role, you should have:
PhD in a Biological Sciences discipline, preferably with a large focus on microbiology
Minimum 5 years industry experience strong data analysis and presentation skills
Strong customer focus
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong collaboration mindset
Flexibility to occasionally adjust their work schedule to join meetings outside of European time zones.
Ability to travel 20 % of the time.

· Contribute in production as well as prototype assembly in R&D.
· Perform routine maintenance and service for customers in Europe/US.

What you will do at Symcel
In the role as a Purchase and Delivery Specialist, you'll hold a central position in supporting both operations and development by managing supply requirements and ensuring the timely delivery of products, all while closely collaborating with our customers.

Your main responsibilities
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Prepare comprehensive marketing plans that align with the company's goals and sales targets. Implement marketing strategies to enhance company and technology awareness, the maturation of leads, penetration of new markets and expansion of the customer base.

About the position
The Production & Service technician at Symcel will be a key member of the Operation and Engineering team and play a central role with much hands-on work within production and service of current products as well as with prototyping in new development projects in close collaboration with the Engineering Team.
You will work within manufacturing during production periods throughout the year where GMP is applied. You will also work within service and refurbishment which entails a lot of problem solving, possible customer contact and travels. About the position as Senior Engineer
As Senior engineer you will be a key member of the Engineering/Product Development team and play a central role within product realization as responsible for running design & development projects in close collaboration with Symcel research & application team as well as Operations. About the position
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who understands the nuances of digital communication and how to adapt scientific and technical information for an online audience. While digital communication will be the core of the work for this role, it is also important that you are comfortable producing printed material that can be sent out via post or used at events such as conferences.
You will also be responsible for organising online and in-person events. This could be organising the marketing material to be presented at a conference or hosting a webinar for a given field. The ability to organise yourself and others will be essential for this role.
You will also need strong interpersonal skills. As a part of your role, you will need to interact with different departments within Symcel in order to understand various projects and what are their communications needs. You will often be dependent on others to complete your work so having strong communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships is critical for this role. You will be interacting with the marketing and sales departments on a daily basis and have weekly interactions with applications and production teams. The position reports to Symcel’s Marketing Manager and with a very close interaction with the S&M Director.
Symcel is a company grounded in science and technology. We use isothermal microcalorimetry to help researchers in industry and academia to find answers to problems in fields as diverse as antibiotic resistance and cancer. We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a solid business acumen within the lifescience industry that can bring long sales cycles into a good end using his/her personal and professional experience.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for initiating and implementing sales activities and revenue generation within assigned markets

About the position
We are looking for an Application Scientist, with a strong background in preferentially cell metabolism and/or microbiology. This is a temporary position for one year to cover for parental leave, but with the goal and opportunity of permanent employment to follow.
You will be a vital part of the Application development and S&M teams contributing to the development of new calorimetry applications. You will also work closely with established and potential customers during external and internal demos, mainly within the field of microbiology. Work includes design and execution of experimental project plans, results analysis, presentation and documentation of results for product development and customer projects, training potential users and performing demos. A key task of the role will be disseminating information and project results to both internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a person that enjoys practical laboratory work, takes responsibility for the full cycle of product development or customer projects (plan-execute-analyze-present), has excellent communication skills and is good at establishing collaborative working relationships within cross-functional teams including sales and marketing.
In addition to work within development projects, you are expected to contribute to other activities which may include planning, coordination and performing common tasks, suggesting improvements, reporting deviations, and by other means actively contributing to the fulfilment of goals within the team and the company.

About the position
You will be part of the production team for manufacturing, servicing, and developing advanced medtech measurement equipment. The role includes hands-on work with the construction and assembly of instruments, issue handling, and developing products with prototyping and testing.

About the position
In our strive to increase global sales, we are strengthening our team with a Sales Manager. You will be overall responsible for our sales activities. Together with the CEO you will continuously develop and drive Symcel’s sales strategy.
You will also engage heavily in operational sales where you will approach, enthuse and ultimately convert pharma/biotech companies and academic research groups into customers. Your main tools are your computer, phone and our scientific data. Your courtyard is the world, with a starting focus on Europe. In the sales team, we have a strong focus on always starting new interactions with potential customers. You will lead our sales efforts as a team and work very closely with other Symcel team members either fully or partly devoted to sales.

Om positionen
Du kommer att vara en del av produktionsteamet för tillverkning och service av avancerad medicinteknisk mätutrustning. Rollen inkluderar mycket praktiskt arbete med konstruktion och montering av instrument, problemlösning och vidareutveckling av existerande produkter.
Du kommer att vara en del av ett team som samordnar interna och externa insatser inom mekanik, elektronik och programvara. Dokumentation och kvalitetssäkring är viktiga aspekter av rollen och utförs parallellt med det kontinuerliga arbetet.
Rollen inkluderar även kundkontakt och support både online och på plats, vilket innebär regelbunden resa i Sverige, Europa och USA under hela året. Du kommer med tiden att bli ansvarig för schemalagd service och on-demand-service för våra produkter.

Denna roll medfo?r mycket tekniskt arbete; da?rfo?r ser vi att du a?r en person som gillar att vara pa? dina fo?tter och arbeta aktivt i produktion och med kunder som beho?ver service och support.
Du har ett genuint intresse för praktiska uppgifter och montering, du vill framåt och har god känsla för tekniken och för att se helheten. Du arbetar för närvarande med antingen produktion, produktutveckling eller teknisk service. Arbetet kräver att du är proaktiv och löser problem. Du tycker om att hitta lösningar på saker och är strukturerad i ditt arbete.
Vi tror också att du är flexibel som person och kan anpassa dig till de snabba förändringar och krav som finns i ett start-up företags natur.
Krav:
Akademisk examen i teknik, inom mekanik, medicinsk eller elektroteknik
> 5 a?rs erfarenhet av produktion / tillverkning
Kritiskt tänkande, problemlösning och planerings färdigheter
Målstyrd och proaktiv personlighet
Kan resa minst 3-4 dagar i ma?naden
