Our Design and Research Journey
Enterprise software has historically lagged behind consumer applications in creating well-designed user experiences. Azets Software is committed to creating experiences that are on par with consumer apps in usability, functionality, and enabling users to achieve their goals. We've made significant strides towards this mission, including establishing our design system, forming cross-functional teams, and expanding our design organization under the leadership of James, our Head of Design.
As we continue to grow, we recognize the need for research-driven insights to further inform and elevate our design processes. We have ambitions to strengthen our capacity with disciplines such as service design, design ops, and most crucially—user research.
Our team, which currently consists of three user experience designers and three user interface designers focused on the design system, is dedicated to building trusting relationships, empathy, and supporting each other daily to help us be our best selves. Now, we are looking to add a research expert who can steer our design decisions with evidence-backed insights and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Your New Challenge...
As our Senior UX Researcher & Strategist, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to make data-driven decisions that significantly enhance our products' user experience. You will lead the charge of developing and executing research strategies that inform every level of our design and product development processes.

Key Responsibilities in your first year
Strategic Research Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy that aligns with our business goals and drives user-centered innovation.
Advocate for the integration of research into all stages of product development, ensuring that every decision is informed by data and user insights.

Data and Tools Optimization
Assess and optimize the use of existing data sources and research tools,
Identify, justify, and integrate new data sources and tools, ensuring that each choice is cost-effective and strategically enhances our understanding of user behavior and needs.

User Engagement and Insight Generation
Innovate methods to access and engage users, even in challenging contexts, to gather meaningful and unbiased insights.
Collaborate with internal teams and business units to facilitate research, ensuring that the voice of the user is always represented in our decision-making processes.

Execution and Mentorship
Lead large-scale research initiatives that provide deep insights into user needs and behaviors, directly influencing our product strategy.
Establish research operations across the organisation. Build scalable processes, select the right tools, and embed research practices that ensure consistent, high-quality insights are integrated into every stage of our product development lifecycle.
Mentor our design team and others

Research Roadmap and Continuous Improvement
Create and maintain a research roadmap that drives continuous improvement in how we gather and utilize data.
Work closely with data analysts to deliver actionable insights that inform and enhance product management and design.

Azets Software is a Technology company that is part of the Azets Group, a multinational corporation with offices across 8 countries. Azets aims to provide an end-to-end experience for small to medium companies across the UK, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The customer platform delivers a modern digital customer experience to its 170k+ enterprise users across 30k+ companies, with the expectation of doubling its user base over the next 3 years.
Azets is investing both in the existing applications that compose the customer platform as well as developing whole new product areas. For example, we will build a new communication platform for chat and video calls between customers and consultants and a marketplace for buying services and products.
We are currently looking for a Operation Lead who will be reporting directly to the “Head of Technology” in the organization. You will lead how our developers use AWS and be responsible for the operational excellence of our technology platform, Cozone. You will be part of a bigger team that mainly works with AWS and is responsible for similar applications.
We expect you to work on two levels: first managing AWS services and orchestrating the current services being used for our offerings, and the second level would be to maintain our Cozone platform so that it is running efficiently and is highly available. You will be responsible for service windows, cost optimization, migrations and optimization of the platform. We expect that you will be working tightly with the development team.
At Azets Software you will get the opportunity to build distributed high-loaded security solutions. You will Support and build critical infrastructure while assisting the team with proof of concept research. You will be working with software developers and product owners to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
Technical requirements
Experience with networking: IP stack, routing, DNS
3+ years working experience as a Linux/Unix system administrator
3+ years of experience with AWS
Showing the basics of Cloud-related microservice architecture (AWS): EC2, networking, IAM, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, SNS, ECR
Having the fundamentals and practice with containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
A holder of 'Work smart, not hard' approach and 'Automate everything' lifestyle: Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash
DB administration experience as an advantage: My, InfluxDB, Redis, ElasticSearch
Good at infrastructure and applications monitoring: principles, approaches, and systems like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana
Possessing deep troubleshooting skills
Proficient in at least one CI/CD tools
Understanding of microservices architecture
Understanding of container virtualization
Experience in event driven architectures

You should be an expert in

You will be responsible for a part of Azets’ digital customer platform. This platform is the public face for the company’s accounting, payroll and consulting services. 

Product manager at Azets Software:

Our product managers work within our product teams to solve hard customer and business problems in ways that cater to our customers and work for our business. Our product teams are cross-functional and durable, composed of a product manager, a product designer, and several engineers. 

This job is an individual contributor role. You will be part of a well distributed and partly remote team. To be successful you will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through data and selling the long-term vision. The job will also include business travel. 

The Product Manager is responsible for
* Delivering a valuable and business-viable product to internal Azets Group customers and external clients
* Defining product strategy and roadmap 
* Converting strategy into a product 
* Deeply understanding the platform’s users
* Agile product owner duties
* Taking responsibility for results
* Product pricing and positioning
* Building buy-in and relationships with international partner teams

Requirements
* Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery 
* Minimum 2 years working on technology-powered products 
* Experience setting strategy amidst evolving business dynamics
* Ability to work through uncertainty and within a complex global decision-making structure
* Ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship, influencing without authority
* Excellent English (written and verbal) communication skills
