We are looking for a Senior System Administrator who has experience in both system administration, development, and application management. We have a mixed environment with many years in the making, so the tasks are varied.
Our business is part of Tietoevry Industry. The team's main focus is to develop and maintain our technical environment and our platforms. The business is mainly focused on document production and processing. We have many hundreds of customers who deliver data to us and which we then process. The largest application we manage is Quadient (GMC) Inspire, but we also have dozens of proprietary services.
The most important personality traits we are looking for are humility, flexibility, and service mindedness.
This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden. You are expected to be a resident of Sweden to apply for this position.


What you will do as a System Administrator at Tietoevry Industry


The tasks will include everything from troubleshooting errors in individual customer jobs to working with migrating applications to scaling containers and to optimizing our clusters for databases, production servers and file transfers.


Your primary tasks will be


Linux and clusters
FTP, NFS and other communication protocols
Complex troubleshooting between multiple applications
Maintain monitoring and observability
Windows server administration

About the team
The mission for this team is to successfully advise and implement cloud solutions tailored to our customers' needs. As a cloud consultant within this brand-new team, you will create value for our customers and Tietoevry Create, by focusing on digital transformation and innovation. Together with your team members, you will build the solution and move our customers' platform and applications to the cloud, by using one of the major public cloud services Azure, AWS, GCP or any other cloud providers preferred by our customers.
Tietoevry Create is one of the leading companies in the Nordics building better digital services for our clients both in the private and public sectors. For us public cloud is not an enabling technology, but a new and better way for customers to build digital services. We also believe that combining our Nordic culture and breadth of our capabilities makes us best positioned to help customers to achieve real cloud transformation.?
You will support our clients on their cloud adoption to ensure the intended business outcomes are met. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their current state, advise on cloud solutions that meet their business needs and guide them through the transformation. You should have


A background within the technology industry, at least 3+ years of experience
Understanding about consultancy business
Hands on experiences in any cloud implementations
Effective communicator with good presentation and workshop facilitation skills
Analytical skills and data-driven

Denna roll hos oss är ett heltidsvikariat för föräldraledig 20200901-20211031 med möjlighet till förlängning med schemalagda arbetstider och där visst helgarbete kan förekomma. Arbetsuppgifterna består av arbete med support för kund. I supporten ingår tjänstehantering och andra administrativa uppgifter, incidentmanagement där supporten är Single Point of Contact för samtliga inkommande ärenden.
Vi arbetar i en snabb föränderlig miljö, vilket kräver att du är flexibel, med din tidigare erfarenhet kommer du även kunna bidra med idéer till att utveckla och effektivisera våra arbetsrutiner. Vi ser att du har erfarenhet av kundsupport, det är fördelaktigt om du har erfarenhet av att jobba på ett större bolag där delar av kundsupportprocessen är kopplad till systemintegrationer, därav ser vi gärna att du även har ett systemintresse.
Vi ser att du har fullständigt och godkänt gymnasiebetyg eller motsvarande, du arbetar obehindrat på svenska och engelska, är kommunikativ samt har ett sinne för att lösa problem. Det är viktigt att du gillar att arbeta i team samt har förmågan att se detaljer utan att tappa helhetsperspektivet. Du är van att jobba självgående och prioritera arbetsuppgifter i en dynamisk miljö. Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av ITIL och incidenthantering. Högskolestudier och övriga spårkkunskaper är också meriterande.
