What you will be doing
As a Data Steward you will be the caretaker of the data within one or more Data Areas. You are the main point of contact for Data Owners to resolve data issues and implement SEB’s Data Governance model. Furthermore, you work closely with stakeholders from all parts of the organization to make sure that short-term and long-term objectives are met, and that master data and data quality is an important part of processes, products, and mindsets. You are also involved in all phases from creation to consumption of data and serve as an ambassador to inspire.
You will support SEB Life & Pension in developing required data management capabilities and corresponding ways of working to secure the ambitions to become a data driven company.
Here are some of the responsibilities in the role:
• Secure the data landscape is properly defined with relevant terms including business glossary, anchor with key stakeholders and in relevant forums
• Be involved in developing and implementing process and ownership of data quality controls and the increased automation of controls and validations
• Collaborate with other Data Stewards to gain cross insights from other Data Areas
• Responsible that data is classified according to SEB Information Security policy
• Together with the team, engage in SEB Life & Pension’s transformation by using change management methodology to enable a true data driven culture

To succeed in this role, you need experience of working with data management or closely related fields. In addition, you understand regulations that affect the data area and practical experience of data management systems and data flows to support business processes. In the role as BI Tester, you will be involved in testing our code and solutions before release to production. We are also continuously working with test automation and integration testing.

Since we are working in an agile set up, you should have experience working according to agile principles. In order to fit into this role, you should have:
- Extensive experience of working as a tester – preferably in a Data Warehouse context.
