Position Summary
The Public Affairs & Communications lead, oncology will drive GSK Sweden’s external affairs and communications strategy to support the successful launch and access of GSK’s expanding oncology portfolio. The role will shape the policy environment, strengthen GSK’s position within Swedish cancer care, and ensure timely and sustainable patient access to innovative treatments.
In addition, the role will lead external communications activities for oncology, ensuring consistent, compliant, and impactful messaging across stakeholders and channels, and proactively influence the public narrative around cancer care and innovation.
Working closely with the Head of Government Affairs & Communications, the Oncology Business Unit, and cross-functional teams, the manager will translate portfolio needs into policy and communication strategies and build high-impact stakeholder partnerships.

Responsibilities
Execute priority areas of the Government Affairs strategy with a strong focus on oncology launches.
Identify and analyse policy, regulatory, and healthcare trends impacting oncology access and innovation.
Shape the external environment by engaging authorities, policymakers, industry partners, and cancer organisations at national and regional level.
Develop and deliver compelling messages and narratives in media and public forums to position GSK as a trusted voice in oncology.
Lead external communications for oncology, including media engagement, press materials, and alignment of messaging with compliance standards.
Support brilliant launches by ensuring policy readiness, external narrative development, and stakeholder mapping.
Build long-term partnerships with patient organisations and integrate patient perspectives into policy and communication activities.
Provide timely intelligence on political, healthcare, and media developments affecting GSK’s oncology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the implementation, localization and approval of content/material (CL).
Key point of contact with vendors and suppliers, relevant for the functions.
Support the team in engagements, activities, and meetings (internal/external) including webinars, Veeva engagement.
Support Brand Manager to execute updates on GSK Websites.
Single accountable to have, “up to date and approved” material in stock at the warehouse.
Single accountable for sending required content, information as patient organisation sponsorships etc to authorities as LIF etc.
Run self-governed projects.
Initiate, compose and distribute correspondence on routine matters.
Administrate conferences, webinars and other internal meetings, including companywide conferences when needed.
Responsible for department administration according to agreed routines as if delegated draft agreements, process the signature process and tracking, store agreements.
Follow the finance routines regarding e.g. Purchase orders, contracts, invoices and be an active and coordinating partner in A&P (Sales& Marketing spend vs budget) follow up meetings.
Develop a strong cross functional working relation within relevant functions.
Administrative support to customer facing functions as relevant ie speaker programme, ad board, and track compliance WoW.

As Finance Director you will be the financial referral point within the LOC creating the interfaces with the Area, LOC and above country to deliver financial targets. As a member of the LOC Leadership Team, you will provide support to GM and Business Unit Heads on how to drive growth, optimize allocation of resources and manage P&L.
