We are looking for
We are looking for a person with strong leadership, management and communication skills that will be responsible for the operations of our tech platform. We want a manager with a broad knowledge in Tech, a deep interest in our business, and a strong drive to improve and protect our customer experience. Do you enjoy being a people’s person in an IT context? Grease in the machine and communications channel? Do you like keeping an eye on what’s coming and what’s hurting?
Your role will be to ensure that the tech platform continuously delivers business value to support sales both online and in our physical stores and that any deviations can quickly be mitigated. You will act as the oil in the machinery and the communication channel when we have challenges.
Overall role
You will be responsible for the operational side of our tech platform which is closely connected to the continuous development and the processes supporting it. In essence learning what works and what doesn’t. Working to implement new tools or processes to make sure we can deliver fast and with quality. Making sure we know the health of our systems and what the customer is experiencing. Ensuring priority on issues and challenges from an operational perspective to secure a sustainable business and a sustainable tech delivery.
To succeed we believe you are inspired by direct and hands on management and project management to achieve goals. Your own initiative and results will have a great impact. In this role, you can make a difference both short and long term!
Your responsibilities
Responsible for the operational side of the Afound tech delivery
Plan and follow up delivery KPI:s according to business and tech agreements
Manage deviations from agreed service targets
Be part in transforming from traditional application operations to devops
Constantly improve established ways of working between vendors and other parts of Afound
Your skills
Strong Leadership and management skills
A people’s person with ability to lead and/or be part of cross functional teams
Experience from roles such as Devops-manager, Project Manager or System Responsible
Retail experience and preferably marketplace experience
An entrepreneurial mindset making things happen – on time and on budget, but finding ways to achieve goals faster and in new ways when needed
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
