We are looking a highly skilled QA engineer, to join a consultancy assignment.

Background / business context

We are looking to strengthen our team, with an QA engineer who would be responsiblie for quality assurance. This application is used by our end customers to buy hardwares, subscriptions, sims and transfer their subscription etc. The main responsibility of the team is to build the Frontend and a backend of orchestration services and API’s to be consumed by the client.

Activities to be performed

You are a highly specialized QA Engineer, with a focus on web, motivated by technical challenges and delivering top quality. As a QA Engineer you are used to work in close cooperation with both backend and frontend developers in your team, coaching them and being an ambassador of good quality, automation principles and you will also help us to define our goals within automation and test in general.

At the same time you will also work on creating test plans, as well as performing for example manual, exploratory or performance testing.

Close communication and collaboration is needed with multiple teams connecting to the whole system around this team's specific application that orchestrates workflows between different applications and microservices. Data models and relationships is important to understand.

Competence requirements

Required:


- C#, Selenium

- Experienced in writing Nunit tests.

- Extensive experience in Automation Framework Designing

- Hands on experience on Selenium for automating frontend tests, parallelization and mocks.

- Experience of working with HTTP/Restful APIs, Postman/Curl (or similar API testing tools)

- Knowledge about Browserstack or similar for cross browser testing to test across different device combinations

- Experience with Defect tracking tool (Jira or similar)

- Understanding of CI/CD (preferably Jenkins)

- Working knowledge of GIT

Preferred:


- Maven

- AWS (for tracking events/logs using Cloudwatch)

- Elastic Stack (Kibana, APM or similar log aggregation/tracing tools)

- Grafana / Prometheus (or similar monitoring tools)

- Swagger

- Jenkins

- Performance Testing Tools (eg. Jmeter etc)

En applikation som AFRY utvecklat under längre tid skall skrivas om i grunden samt utökas med mer funktionalitet. Efterfrågan i kundens organisation för denna applikation är under kraftig tillväxt och vi ser att dess användningsområden kan bredda. Det finns en klar kravbild för vad arkitekturen skall hantera, men det finns med tanke på den breddade användningen behov av att i workshops med kunden borra djupare i det.

Skallkrav

- Minst 10 års erfarenhet av systemutveckling
- Intresse och erfarenhet av att ta fram systemarkitektur
- UML-kunskap
- Svenskt medborgarskap


Meriterande

- Kunskap i .NET/Xamarin
- Erfarenhet av arkitektur med microkärnor


Inom affärsområdet pågår liknande projekt, där framtagna designregler och idéer med fördel kan återanvändas för att spara tid och öka möjligheterna för att flytta utvecklingsresurser mellan projekt.

Site Reliability Engineers are responsible for ensuring that services are available, the underlying infrastructure is properly functioning, and other internal tools, processes, and systems are working as expected. An essential responsibility also includes monitoring critical applications and related services to ensure availability during critical business hours

Main responsibilities, activities and duties

Thoroughly analyse assigned systems and supported business to understand design and functionality in relation to stakeholder needs.

Identify, establish, and uphold appropriate system Service Level Objectives (SLOs) together with the team and implement the use of error budgets along with policies/consequences for deviating from them.

Ensure observability and monitoring of relevant systems. Provide guidelines and educate the product teams on observability practices/standards around metrics, logs and traces.

Proactively seek out system weaknesses and find ways to fix them before they cause production issues using monitoring data, watching trends, and using Chaos Engineering.

Build automated solutions and tools to help debug and resolve problems in production and prevent them from reoccurring.
Lead blameless post-mortems for incidents together with different product teams and vendors. Be part of on-call rotations to ensure SLOs are met, with the goal of eliminating the need for support outside of office hours.

Education and certification
Academic degree in systems development, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through work experience and continuing professional education.

Knowledge and experience

- Senior level expertise in: - Software development.
- Database management systems and .
- Containerization with OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Integration though KAFKA and message queues.
- Java
- Cloud (Azure/AWS)



- Proven experience in developing production-grade, performant, scalable and durable applications.
- Experience at all levels of the technology stack, i.e. Infrastructure, Database, API, components and front-end.
- Hands on experience of managing complex, high-volume applications/components in production critical environments.
- Experience of performance tuning techniques, stability patterns and scalability approaches.
- Experience of fact-based, data-driven problem solving and communication.

Proven ability to independently capture and share information through formal written
documentation in English and local language.
Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
