We design, build, and integrate unique scientific experiments for sounding rockets, stratospheric balloons, and other space platforms. Our work transforms complex customer needs into reliable technical systems that perform flawlessly under the toughest conditions.


YOUR ROLE
As our Systems Engineer, you will play an important role in the full lifecycle of our mechanical systems - from design to launch. You’ll work closely with engineers from various disciplines to ensure our payloads meet demanding requirements for precision, reliability, and safety.
Your main responsibilities include:
Translating mission and customer requirements into mechanical designs using our CAD/PDM tools (CREO/PDMLink preferred)
Performing analyses such as stress, thermal and CFD to ensure system performance
Creating detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
Assembling and integrating scientific payloads for rockets and balloons
Conducting tests and verifications related to mechanical integrity and functionality.



WHO YOU ARE
You have a background in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and a genuine interest in space technology. You thrive when combining analytical design work with hands-on problem solving and teamwork.
To succeed in this role, you likely have:
Experience with CAD/PDM systems, preferably CREO/PDMLink
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and system integration
Practical experience in mechanical assembly and testing
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

YOUR ROLE
At SSC Connect we enable global satellite communication, and you will be part of the Software unit that makes it happen.
As our Software Engineer (Backend & Cloud), you’ll develop and maintain the critical systems that keep our customers connected with their satellites every day.
What you’ll do:
Design, build and maintain high-quality code for new and existing software applications powering SSC’s services.
Improve automation for software testing, deployment and delivery pipelines.
Enhance system observability by developing solutions for monitoring, logging and alerting.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our agile ways of working.
Support live missions and ensure the operational reliability of our systems.



WHO YOU ARE
You are someone who cares about your systems, your users and your colleagues.
You have a creative yet structured mindset, and you’re motivated by solving complex problems and finding efficient solutions. You’re comfortable taking initiatives, working both independently and collaboratively, and you enjoy transforming ideas into robust and scalable solutions.
We believe you have a BSc or similar degree in Computer Science or Engineering and several years of experience in software development.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Proven experience in Go development
Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
Solid knowledge of Linux environments
Excellent communication skills in English.

We also value if you have:
Experience building scalable and reliable infrastructure on cloud platforms
Knowledge of Kubernetes
Experience with message bus technologies (NATS, Kafka)
API development experience (RESTful / JSON / XML)
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD methodologies
Experience with databases (/No)
Interest or experience within the space industry.

Additional information:
You must hold EU citizenship and be able to travel occasionally.
This role is critical to SSC’s operational services and may include participation in an on-call rotation (up to one week per month).

WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced Quality Officer with a proven track record of ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement in complex organizations. You are structured, detail-oriented, and able to balance operational needs with regulatory demands. With strong communication and collaborating skills, you inspire a quality-first mindset across the organization.
To succeed in this role, we see that you bring:
A minimum of 7 years of experience working with quality management systems (QMS).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
In-depth knowledge of quality frameworks and international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 31000).
Experience managing full audit lifecycles, both internal and external.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
