The Software unit within SSC Connect is entrusted to develop and maintain critical systems required to connect our customers with their satellites. As our Software Engineer, you’ll develop and maintain the critical systems that keep our customers connected with their satellites every day.


REQUIREMENTS
We think that you care - about your systems, your colleagues, and your users. That you have a creative and analytical mindset. You take responsibility, drive your own initiatives, and can learn and process technical details quickly. We also think that you appreciate both working autonomously and together with other people.
We believe you have a BSc or similar degree in Computer Science or Engineering and several years of experience in software development.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Proven experience in Go development
Proven experience with git
Proven experience with unit testing and system test scripting
Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms
Solid knowledge of Linux environments
Excellent communication skills in English.

We also value if you have experience with:
Experience building scalable and reliable infrastructure on cloud platforms
Knowledge of Kubernetes
Experience with message bus technologies (RabbitMq, NATS, Kafka)
API development experience (RESTful / JSON / XML)
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD methodologies
Experience with databases (/No)
Interest or experience within the space industry.


You must hold EU citizenship and be able to travel occasionally.
This role is also critical for our operational services and may include participation in an on-call rotation (up to one week per month).

Advance automation in testing, deployment, and delivery.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Knowledge
Proven experience in a senior PMO or project management leadership role, preferably within complex technical, engineering and/-or infrastructure environments.
Strong command of project management principles, frameworks and governance models.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, to a high professional standard.

REQUIREMENTS
Proven leadership experience in managing engineering or technical teams, with the ability to build, motivate, and develophigh performinggroups.
Solid background in systems engineering or a closely related technical domain, with the capability to review designs, guide discussions, and uphold high technical standards. Preferably experience in both software and hardware systems integration.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with demonstrated experience in growing talent, supporting onboarding, and professional development.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in different teams.
