The lead candidate drug Siplizumab (an anti-CD2 monoclonal antibody) is in late-stage clinical development and has shown significant potential in transforming the life for organ transplant patients, by allowing the complete discontinuation of all immunosuppression treatment and restoration of a normal life.We are currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position as Postdoctoral Researcher at our laboratory in Solna, located on the main campus of Karolinska Institute.Summary DescriptionThe work consists mainly of research within the monoclonal antibody area. The main focus of the research projects relates to understanding the mechanisms of immune rejection in solid organ transplantation, and how to mitigate and completely prevent such responses with novel immunosuppressive treatments developed by ITB-MED.
