The team, position & mission:
To strengthen our European IT Team, we are looking for an IT System engineer to operate, maintain and evolve our infrastructure, supporting our business through Europe. This is a great opportunity to join a multicultural international team spread across 12 countries spanning from north to south Europe. As a valued member of the team, this position offers plenty of scope for further development and growth. You will participate in technical projects touching on various aspects of the company, allowing you to explore new technologies and methodologies.

Your key areas of responsibility as Senior System Engineer:
Explore and implement new technologies to enable our business
Keep our infrastructure safe and compliant
Ensure disaster recovery capabilities
Assist and train end users on IT and cybersecurity topics
Ensure proper follow-up of established procedures
Diagnose, analyze issues and propose appropriate solutions
Participate to the design/completion of the documentation and procedures
Follow-up and report on activities (projects, backups, patching, vulnerabilities, etc


As an ideal candidate you meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years experience in system engineering
Have experience in scripting (Powershell, Infrastructure-as-code, etc.)
Share knowledge, capitalize, and mutualize work with the teams
Have the ability to balance listening, asking pertinent questions and sharing your ideas and solutions
Are resilient and able to the manage bursts in requests
Take considered initiatives and adapt to new situations
Are proficient in English and capable of communicating professionally in oral and written conversations


Technical skills:
Management and hardening of Windows/Unix systems
VMware infrastructure management
Knowledge of Veeam backup and recovery solutions is a plus
Microsoft Azure: Management of landing zones, resources and access management
Networks: TCP/IP: DHCP, DNS, VPN SSL & IPSEC for diagnostics
Active Directory: users, groups, GPO, Sites and services, replication …
Azure Active Directory (Entra) : Apps, Access Management,…
Microsoft 365 / Office 365 : Licenses, Exchange Online (shared mailboxes, dynamic and static distribution lists), Teams, Dynamics.


It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:
Microsoft certification
UNIX administration
MacOS is a plus
Monitoring via Zabbix (SNMP)
Microsoft Intune / SCCM
Oral and written proficiency in Norwegian/Swedish

The role:
As a Senior Storage Engineer at Orange Business, you will interface with infrastructure teams and customer teams to maintain and develop a stable storage environment for our customers. You will work with various events, changes, incidents and ad-hoc projects to ensure we can deliver a quality service and timely response to incidents. In the Storage team you will be part of a learning culture that prioritizes collaboration, teamwork, and excellence. You will get the opportunity to work in one of the largest storage environments in Northern Europe. Our environment consists of over 30 HPE 3pars/Primera/Alletra, 25 IBM Flashsystems, some Hitachi systems, +120 Brocade Gen6/7 SAN switches, NetApps for file storage and Scality for object storage. In total over 30PB of data across 8 datacenters in 3 countries.

You should have:
5+ years practical experience of HPE and IBM block storage, as well as Brocade SAN switches and directors
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills with an ability to identify and solving issues autonomously
Familiarity with datacenter operations
Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and non-technical for storage administration issues
Strong customer service capabilities to ensure client satisfaction
Broad IT industry exposure and experience
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Swedish proficiency is a bonus, but not essential.

The role
As a Senior Systems Engineer with focus on Windows within our infrastructure team Core Platform Services, you will work with the development and operation of the Windows based infrastructure within Orange Business, aiming to standardize and automate where possible. You will work closely with other team members and with colleagues in other Orange Business departments to improve existing platforms and core systems as well as explore and develop even better ways of managing the "fleet" of thousands of servers. From time to time, you will also act as an advisor for both internal and external customers.


Areas of responsibility
Planning and executing large and small improvement tasks (sometimes in the form of an internal project), troubleshooting and error handling
Contribute to the life cycle management process for the systems where your team is responsible
Acting as third-line support for other Orange Business departments and customers on operational issues
Participating in the handling of critical events (like security incidents or major operational incidents)
Eventually taking on ownership of one or more of the Windows related systems or areas where the Core Platform Services team is responsible, for example SCCM


You should have:
A Bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent education) within IT preferred, optionally relevant training and/or certifications
4+ years of relevant experience within IT, preferably in a large operations setting (for a service provider or within an enterprise IT organization)
Experience managing large Windows server environments
Experience with scripting/programming (PowerShell or similar)
Good knowledge of internet/networking technologies (SCCM, DNS, DHCP, NTP, TCP/IP and FW/LB concepts)
General understanding of server virtualization technologies
Good verbal and written communication skills in English

We work in a large-scale Microsoft management portfolio (SCCM/MECM) and it's a bonus if you have this experience from before. It's also an advantage if you have experience with either Ansible, Kanban and DevOps, Microsoft cluster technologies, or Azure AD. We work according to the ITIL framework and hope you do too.

The role and key areas of responsibility:
As a Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer your main responsibility will be as an owner and architect for one or more key areas within our cloud area. You will play a leading technical role in the development and maintenance of our Public Cloud Platform or working in different customer projects, designing new solutions and products, driving innovation and development internally. Cloud Architect or Engineer AWS/Azure

Responsibilities:
• Engage in creating the next cool Cloud Service
• Contribute to further expansion and development of our Cloud area in Orange Business Services
• Creating excellent secure services with quality in mind.
• Development of serverless architectures, container-based solution, CI/CD-pipelines, event driven frameworks.
• Building services using the latest technology offered by Cloud Providers

Background:
• Relevant higher education or working experience
• You are a software developer or an experienced AWS/Azure cloud practitioner.
• Preferably certified in AWS and/or Azure certificates, but it’s not a requirement.
• Worked with either software development or operational services.
• Relevant working experience can compensate for lack of formal education.


Technical skills:
• Experience with one or more programming languages like Python, Ruby or similar.
• Infrastructure tools/languages such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK.
• Understanding the concept of Object Oriented programming.
• Practice test driven development.
• Database experience within and/or key/value stores.•
