Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain O-RAN RU application software architecture
Mentor the overall design team and explain the overall ideas and principles that guides the Radio application SW, as well as explaining and motivating in a leadership context, like project and product meetings.
Work with internal stakeholders and Customers to define winning portfolio and roadmap
Convert customer requirements and expectations to best in class design innovation
Support different Radio vendors use the Mavenir Radio SW
Provide active support for, product management, pre-sales and marketing activities including technical solutions support
Documentations and API

Job Requirements
Full understanding of O-RAN mission and specifications, functional disaggregation, especially the 7.2 Mplane
Deep knowledge and understanding of principles and technology in the area of management, including TMN, FCAPS, Management technology, Netconf, SNMP, information modeling.
Knowledge of control and management of network elements using a variety of interfaces, such as NETCONF/YANG, Web APIs, message queues, files and databases
Solid experience in a context relevant to embedded software development and modern development methods and environments
Function/feature systemization including requirement handling and interface design (API)
Holistic view and a firm understanding of Radio architectures and design for different frequency bands and capabilities. Hardware, middleware, operating systems, FPGA design, RF etc.
Through and general knowledge of 3GPP RAN specifications and functionality
Deep knowledge of NR air i/f, and specifically L1 PHY and analog radio transmission for NR
Deep knowledge of principles and available technology for network synchronization
Worked with Embedded processors i.e. ARM, MIPS and DSP
Deep knowledge of testing and debugging embedded systems software
Familiar with Comms interfaces - Ethernet / TCP/IP / UDP / SNMP / XML
Scripting languages: Matlab/Python Visa mindre

Role Summary
Mavenir is looking for a leader with excellent track record to be part of the Radio SW development team. Focus will be on advanced technology and product development together with our customers. We will progress this as a start-up company in Mavenir and leverage the whole organization. As part of Radio SW Development team you will join the Radio Business Unit and will be responsible for developing O-RAN 7.2 M-plane software. You will be actively engaged in the architecture definition and proactively drive the implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the RU SW Common Mplan feature/functions according to the ORAN 7.2 Spec and request of SW architect team
Analyze and define the RU SW architecture based on the customer request
Support the integration team, testing the RU SW with the right hardware
Develop Automation test cases for the developed SW, together with the test automation expert
Coordinate with the global team to deliver the product on time
Support the customer engagement
Documentation of the Design details
