Kravhantering – Definition och hantering av system- och signaleringssystems krav; implementering av kravhanteringsprocessen som säkerställer fördelning och utveckling av signaleringsunderkrav fram till slutlig validering, med särskilt fokus på kund-/kontraktskrav och konstruktionskrav.
Gränssnittshantering– Definition och hantering av alla delsystems gränssnitt, med särskild hänvisning till signaleringssystemens gränssnitt; planering och teknisk samordning med ett systematiskt och effektivt tillvägagångssätt för att lösa interna och externa gränssnittsfrågor under alla projektfaser.
- **Signaleringssystemdesign** – Definition av dokumentation för signaleringssystemdesign med fokus på den övergripande signaleringsarkitekturen, signaleringssystemets funktioner och principer, inklusive verifieringsaktiviteter för dokument relaterade till teknisk integration av alla signaleringsdelsystem. Utför gap-analys i förhållande till standardslösningar när det gäller signaleringssystemets funktioner och identifiera krav för tilldelning till signaleringsundergrupper. Hantera konfigurationen av mjukvaruleveranser på plats och i labb för signaleringsdelsystem i linje med projektets mål och tidsplaner.
Stöd för testutförande – Bidra till utförandet av tester av signaleringssystem på plats och i laboratorium. Delta i fabrikacceptanstest för signaleringsutrustning av större betydelse.
Samordning och godkännanden – Fungera som kontaktpunkt för projektteamet och kunden angående signaleringssystemet. Övervaka godkännandeprocessen med myndigheter, hantera pågående frågor tills slutgiltigt godkännande, och stödja driftsättningsansvarig och projektingenjören i att erhålla systemets slutliga godkännande.

Mission:
Deliver simple (in terms of number of interfaces and or contract value) (or part of) Signalling systems and subsystems, which meet reliability and safety requirements, in compliance with project schedule and budget. Build the required RAMS evidence and ensure independent safety assessment.
Accountabilities:
Ensure the verification of system requirements in order to confirm compliance of the Signalling application with safety and customer requirements.
Ensure the organization, scheduling, implementation of RAMS activities and monitoring of V&V activities.
Ensure the identification of Safety Related Non-conformities during V&V activities, their logging, analysis and follow up to closure.

Project Engineer with Railway background to lead wayside railway signalling project - both conventional and ERTMS - with delivery work packages and development packages.

With reference to the assigned complex project
• Ensure (during the bidding phase) the final validation, of bidding whole life costs estimation, revenues, margins and risks and work schedule
• Ensure the on time, on budget and on quality delivery of your project
• Achievement of the targets of the assigned project in terms of Costs, Revenues, Margin and Cash in
• Client relationship by ensuring a direct interface with the client
• Contribute to the promotion of business opportunities and manage the Change Orders/Variation Orders
• Customer satisfaction monitoring
• Contract claims preparation and disputes handling in accordance to contract provisions (e.g. identifying and applying any preventive/corrective action)
Performance criteria:
• Achievement of budget objectives (Costs, Revenue, Margin and Cash in)

• Improvement of the performance of the program/project (efficiency)

Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor/Master degree and PM Certification or technical background
From 5 to 10 years expertise in the PM role of a complex infrastructure business , ideally transportation but experience from telecommunication or electrical power site business is also relevant
First hand experience of management of projects towards end customer from a commercial perspective including successful client relationship after delivery
Good Swedish and English skills are mandatory

Main tasks:
Requirements Engineering – Definition and management of System and Signalling System Requirements; implementation of Requirements Management Process assuring Signalling subsystems requirements allocation and relevant requirements development up to the final validation, with particular focus on Client/contract and design requirements.
Interface Management – Definition and management of all subsystems interfaces with particular reference with signalling system interfaces; scheduling and technical coordination with a systematic and effective approach of the technical resolution of internal and external interfaces during all project phases.
Signalling System Design - Definition of Signalling system design documentation with particular reference to overall Signalling Architecture, Signalling system functionalities and principles, including the verification activities of the documents related to the technical integration for all the Signalling Subsystems. Perform Gap Analysis with respect to standard solution in term of Signalling System functionalities and identification of requirements to be apportioned to signalling subsystems. Manage the configuration of software deliveries on site and in lab for signalling subsystems according to project targets and schedule.
Contribute in executing of Signalling System tests on site and in laboratory. Participate to Signalling Factory Acceptance test for what concerns main signalling equipment
Ensure a contact point for project team and customer with regard to the signalling system; Follow up of approval process with authorities. Management of closure pending until final approval. Support to Commissioning Manager and Project Engineer for the final approval of the system.

Role responsibilities
Conduct all testing and commissioning activities in full compliance with company standards, contract requirements, project schedule, approved test procedures, quality, safety, and environmental objectives
Execute and be responsible for testing and commissioning activities of a Rail Transit System from the installation to the start of revenue service
Coordinate with integration leads and rail system design leads throughout the BID phases to define and finalize installation interfaces and drawings;
Understanding the Engineering Installation needs in order to include them in the design development
Prepare standard installation drawings, developing plan layout, sectional detailed drawings for installing the technical equipment;
Coordinate with Bid/project manager to define the budget for Test and Commissioning activities.
Consult with the subsystems WPLs, PE and PM through completion of drafting to ensure design expectations are met;
Establish and meet timelines and deadlines supporting the project during all the phases;
Define, organize and execute the commissioning activities relevant to a project within the assigned budget.
Create and issue test plan, documentation and reports
Perform troubleshooting, identification and resolution of system and subsystem issues and, when required, escalate issues to engineering and management
Support the definition and execution of integration tests

Education / Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in OnBoard Signalling design.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in OnBoard test and commissioning
Knowledge of ETCS/ERTMS basics.

This also includes implementing the HSE hazard identification, risk assessment and determination of necessary control measures and to identify and manage emergency for the construction site.
Be able to perform regular OHSE inspections (minimum of informal daily and formal weekly) in work areas of Hitachi Rail STS and of subcontractors.
You will have to meet with the Client and authorities.
You will have to support the HSE country manager in the implementation and maintenance of the local HSE management system. This includes the preparation and update of relevant documentation, participation to internal and external audit for certification purpose, reporting to the corporate HSE management for performance evaluation and at last, the arrangement of the regular HSE committee meetings and the annual management reviews.
Skills and experience required:
You are educated as Civil Engineer or similar - or Equivalent Technical background
You have the knowledge of working Environment Act and relevant Danish law on OHSE matter
Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Civil Engineering and Construction Works on large-scale projects
You need OHS, Environmental and Authority Management experience (relationships with local applicable Authorities)
You have the knowledge of Office (this includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Applicable Standards and Certification knowledge (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001)

Mission:

Deliver very complex and critical (in terms of number of interfaces and/or contract value) transportation solution systems that meet Signalling system and subsystem requirements, in compliance with project schedule and budget. Build the required V&V evidences.

Accountabilities:
Guarantee the definition of the Signalling V&V plan according to the standards, safety plan and defined SIL and in compliance with the selected international and national standards and the requirements of customers, certification bodies and safety authorities.
Guarantee the definition of the Signalling Validation Test Specification and the implementation of the Signalling V&V activities
Ensure delivery of project V&V documents in cooperation with the other RAMS functions, Engineering, Operation & Maintenance and external suppliers.
Support development, improvement and implementation of Signalling system and subsystem V&V standard processes.
Ensure the delivery of the Signalling V&V report
Ensure the proper level of independence in the definition and implementation of the Signalling system and subsystem V&V activities in compliance with applicable standards and SILs. Ensure the definition of the requirements and expected features for the testing environments/tools, needed to execute the Signalling system and subsystem Validation activities.

Education / Qualifications
Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University Degree or Equivalent Technical Background
3 to 5 years of professional experience in signaling configuration
Team player and strong inter relationship capability
Ambitious
Leadership skills
Eager to work in an international environment

Languages


Swedish is preferable, English is a must.
